SUMMARY:Ride from one country to another on two wheels and a saddle
DESCRIPTION:Day 1: Saigon - My Tho - Cai Be - Can Tho (Approx. 50 Km.) Day
  1: Saigon - My Tho - Cai Be - Can Tho (Approx. 50 Km.) Pick up at Tan Son
  Nhat airport and transfer to My Tho\, the gateway to the Mekong Delta. In
  My Tho\, we unload our bikes and start cycling on quiet country roads alo
 ng Tien River to Cai Be. Along the way\, we pass through the heart of rura
 l Mekong along narrow lanes\, passing banana plantations\, sugar cane fiel
 ds and the lush rural landscape of the Delta. After Cai Be\, we cross Dinh
  Khao ferry to Cho Lach. We can cycle for a couple of kilometers if we wis
 h and then shuttle the rest way to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho. Meals: L
 unch\, Dinner. Day 2: Can Tho - Chau Doc (Approx . 70 Km.) An early mornin
 g short walk to Ninh Kieu pier to board our private motorized sampan for a
  leisurely cruise to explore the hustle bustle of Cai Rang floating market
  packed with fruits and colourful goods some like cigarettes from Cambodia
  that are smuggled. We return to the hotel for breakfast before driving ou
 t of town to catch the Can Tho Ferry. From the pier we transfer by bus for
  2 kms before starting our cycling day. We head off to a quieter road to e
 njoy biking along the exotic Hau River. Enjoy rural Vietnamese scenery inc
 luding vast stretches of rice paddies and picturesque lotus ponds. Enjoy a
  tasty lunch in a simple local restaurant and then continue through the co
 untryside until we reach Cho Moi town and along the Tien River we approach
  the small town of Phu Tan. We cross the river by ferry before loading our
  bikes on to the support van for a 40km transfer to Chau Doc via Phu My. D
 inner and overnight in Chau Doc. Meals: Lunch\, Dinner. Day 3: Chau Doc - 
 Ha Tien (Approx. 80 Km.) After breakfast\, enjoy a full day on saddle. Tod
 ay will be a mixture of on-road and off-road. First cycle to Sam Mountain 
 with dozens of pagodas and temples. Visit Lady Chua Xu: founded in the 182
 0s\, this pagoda stands facing Sam Mountain. From top of Sam Mountain we c
 atch the panoramic view over the Cambodian border. Ride down hill before w
 e hit the flat terrain to Ha Tien enjoying evergreen countryside dotted wi
 th local homes and orchards. We break journey at Ba Chuc Temple\, consider
 ed as Vietnamese killing fields during Pol Pot’s regime. We then continue 
 to Ha Tien\, a beautiful beach and market town situated on the Vietnam Cam
 bodian coastal border and offering a diverse spread of Vietnamese life wit
 h many Khmer people living here. It has fantastic beaches and superb coast
 line. Overnight Saigon Ha Tien hotel. Meals: Lunch\, Dinner. Day 4: Ha Tie
 n - Kep (Approx. 40 Km.) We leave Ha Tien and head out to Cambodian border
  at Xa Xia (10km from town). A short pleasant ride on the quiet scenic roa
 ds to the border crossing. This rural crossing used mainly by local trader
 s makes for a pleasant stop while we complete all the immigration formalit
 ies. After 15 km ride\, leave your bike in Vietnam and walk across the bor
 der to Cambodia where your new bike awaits. We then enjoy a gentle ride th
 rough stunning rural areas introducing Cambodia to you with the night’s de
 stination being the tranquil seaside town of Kep. Meals: Breakfast\, Lunch
 . Day 5: Kep - Sihanoukville (Approx. 80 Km.) Following breakfast\, enjoy 
 a full day on saddle. Today's ride takes us along easy riding tarmac roads
  that pass through many rural sights with occasional glimpses of the Gulf 
 of Thailand. Cycle through Kampot and its Damrei Mountains and stop off to
  admire this provincial capital with its well preserved French colonial bu
 ilding. Continue to Cambodia's premier beach resort\, Sihanoukville\, wher
 e we spend our night. Meals: Breakfast\, Lunch. Day 6: Sihanoukville - Phn
 om Penh. (Approx. 25 Km.) Morning at leisure on the beach before transferr
 ing from Sihanoukville by road to Cambodia's capital\, Phnom Penh. In the 
 afternoon\, ride or transfer by minibus to the Tuol Sleng Museum and the i
 nfamous Killing Fields. Meals: Breakfast\, Lunch. Day 7: Phnom Penh - Kamp
 ong Chnang (Approx. 90 Km.) Following breakfast\, we commence cycling from
  hotel and head towards Oudong\, the former capital of Cambodia\, passing 
 magnificent scenery and friendly locals. Climb to the top of Phnom Oudong 
 for sweeping views of the countryside before pedaling on tarmac roads towa
 rds Kampong Chhnang. This quiet\, riverside town is known for producing so
 me of the country's best pottery. Meals: Breakfast\, Lunch\, Dinner. Day 8
 : Kampong Chnang - Siem Reap (Approx. 34 Km.) An early start today with 6 
 hour boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake. Arrival in Siem Reap around lunch time. 
 In the afternoon\, Embark on a 10km ride from Siem Reap to Angkor Wat\, st
 opping to explore the temple complex and to enjoy a picnic lunch. In the a
 fternoon\, cycle an additional 17 to 24km on the Small Circuit between Ang
 kor Wat and Phnom Bakeng\, with stops at the Death Gate\, Victory Gate\, T
 erraces of Elephants and Leper King\, and Srah Srang. Watch the sunset fro
 m Phnom Bakeng. Meals: Breakfast\, Lunch. Day 9: Siem Reap (Approx. 52 Km.
 ) After breakfast\, take a shuttle bus to the rose sandstone temple of Ban
 teay Srei\, then explore the temple’s magnificent carvings and embark on t
 he 31km Grand Circuit to the ruined\, jungle temple of Preah Khan. Bike to
  Neak Pean Temple\, famous for its sacred pools\, breaking for lunch befor
 e riding another 21km to Banteay Kdei and Siem Reap via picturesque countr
 y lanes. Overnight in Siem Reap. Meals: Breakfast\, Lunch. Day 10: Departu
 re Siem Reap. Free time for leisure before transfer to the airport. Meals:
