Founded in 1998 with the motto 'Less meeting, more riding,' the Franklin Freewheelers are the heart of the cycling community in Rocky Mount and the scenic Roanoke Valley. Whether you're exploring the rolling hills of Franklin County or tackling the majestic vistas of the Blue Ridge Mountains, we offer a welcoming environment for riders of all skill levels. Join us for our regular Thursday evening rides—often concluding at Chaos Mountain Brewing—or our celebrated Spring and Fall Socials. Beyond the fellowship of the road, we are proud advocates for cycling safety and major supporters of the 'Roll Over Cancer' cycling fundraiser.Rocky Mount, VA
