Arizona Women’s Rally registration is live until September 11th— linked in my profile.
The rally will be October 31-November 7. It’s about 450 miles (720km), mixed gravel & pavement from our home in Tucson— same route as 2023 & 2024. We’ll host the pre-ride dinner in my backyard.
The event is free & open to all women, trans & non-binary riders. We have spots for 50 riders & will give preference to applicants from historically underrepresented groups.
This is not a race, ride your own pace & adapt the route however you see fit. I’m looking forward to camping in the desert with you all 🌵
This will be my 12th & final rally. I started these 5 years ago to offer a unique opportunity for women to get together & take on an adventure. These events have really been a highlight— meeting & riding with so many different women. Every other week I hear about a new women’s rally in different parts of world— this fills me with hope & also makes me feel like I’m ready to take a step back. I’d like to have a bit more time to work with kids again.
A huge thanks to Gaby, Maya, Cali, Bea & Luca for bringing the previous rallies to life. For the final rally we’re working with women from the @grl.pck and @maiafish. Laura, Ami & Maya have all ridden the route and I really appreciate their help!
